Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actress and musician. She started by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with issues like racial identification and sexual orientation. Later, she broadened her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. After classical and Jazz training her interest in hip-hop grew when she was an teen. When she was in high the school, she focused on women's studies and journalism. She also studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. Her focus shifted to music once she graduated. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. The track was later included in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. This album also featured viral hits such as the body positive Queef or the winking city tour the city of New York Bitche$. This latter song was directly linked to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. After having a great career as a singer, she decided to take on the role of an actor. She has appeared in films like Neighbors 2, Storks, and Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in 2018 with a few notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
