Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in the fields of theater, film and television. Her acting journey began with theater, and was later featured in a number of television series and independent and mainstream films. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. Both series received major praise from critics, and she also won a lot of accolades. In 1995 she debuted as Ariel on the stage on stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor, The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Also, she is well-known for her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
