Audra McDonald is unrivaled in her range and the versatility of her talents as a singer and an actor. As the winner of an incredible seven Tony Awards (two Grammy Awards) and an Emmy Award, McDonald was named to Time magazine's list of 100 influential people in 2015. She also received President Barack Obama's National Medal of Arts for her accomplishments. McDonald received a nomination for a fourth Emmy in the year 2016 for her performance in HBO's production of Lady Day, at Emerson's Bar and Grill. The Bite is a drama with six episodes based on a pandemic, coproduced by Spectrum Originals & CBS Studios. She appeared alongside Taylor Schilling & Steven Pasquale. Having first appeared as U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in 2009 on CBS's legal comedy The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald took on her character (now known as Liz Reddick) as a season regular on The Good Fight on Paramount+ getting three Critics Choice Award nominations for her performance. The actress is a featured character in HBO's The Gilded Age by Julian Fellowes.
