Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson excels at pole vaulting. She took home the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics, held in Singapore in 2010, and was the first female athlete to reach pole vault success. Bengtsson was awarded gold medals in the 2009 World Youth Championships and the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban, born on the 4th of November, 1986 in Payatas (Quezon City) was the child of an indigenous mother from the Philippines. Her mother's birthplace was a Filipina, who passed away in 2008, and she is buried in Singapore. Mark Charlson her father comes from Iowa in the U.S. Americas. Mark Charlson, her birth father, is an American native of Iowa retired in the year 1980. He served aboard the U.S.S. O'Brien, which was stationed as a sailor in the Philippines.
