Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead roles in the TV series 'Murder", 'The West Wind in Plain Sight', and 'Loaded'. Her film roles comprise Private Parts, Deep Impact True Crime, and 1408?. McCormack was born in a home with no entertainment connections in any way to her family tree, was the daughter of a clinical therapy professional and an owner of an ice cream parlor. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in 1990, she went to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program for Comparative arts. When she was just 12 when she began her stage career, it started by performing in "Amahl, The Night Visitor, and Amahl" which was a Christmas opera. She continued performing at the theater as well as landing roles in films both small as well as the big screen. Her versatility is recognized today. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. They have three daughters.
