Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California at the 9th July 1983. Her first job was with the real estate industry. Tarek El-Moussa, her upcoming husband, also worked in this business. The couple had great growth until 2008's market crash that resulted in a number of real estate investors and home flippers go bankrupt. As a result of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing the entirety of their wealth. From a $6,000-per-month home, to a $700/month apartment. In the meantime, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek asked an acquaintance to create an HGTV video audition in 2011 that featured the duo of him and Christina flipping over a house. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. The executives fell in love to Tarek, Christina and their stories. In 2012 the couple signed a formal agreement with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April of 2013. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek bought properties in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. They then spent several weeks renovating the home to ensure they could flip it into a profitable profit. Tarek concentrates on construction and remodelling while Christina concentrates on style while also making sure all goes according to plan.
